Our Story
Built to understand the numbers and the business behind them.
LIMESTONE was founded in Indiana to bring financial diligence and operating judgment together.
Ryan Anoskey, CPA, leads the financial diligence work. Jared Luegers, CFA, brings experience in investment research, acquisitions, strategic finance and operating-company execution. Together, their backgrounds shape how LIMESTONE helps buyers and owners understand businesses, make decisions and advance defined priorities.
Why the firm exists
More than half of Indiana’s business owners are 55 or older.

When one of those businesses changes hands, the buyer tests the numbers and the operation. LIMESTONE was built to read both, because both partners have worked inside operating businesses, and to stay on as the operating partner where an owner wants one. Indiana-rooted. Serving buyers and owners nationwide.
Our approach
Technical financial work. Practical operating judgment.
Ryan Anoskey, CPA, leads financial diligence. His background includes four years of financial statement audit, helping build the transaction advisory practice at Blue & Co., more than 100 quality of earnings reviews across his career, and corporate FP&A at Roche Diagnostics.
Jared Luegers, CFA, began in public-equity research before working on acquisitions, ERP and operating-system implementation, refinery FP&A and executive financial planning. He brings that experience to the operating risks behind reported earnings and to work alongside business owners and management.
When an owner wants help with the fixes, one partner or both stays on, with responsibilities in writing. Bookkeeping, tax and systems work go to a separately engaged specialist.
The numbers
Led by Ryan Anoskey, CPA
Proof of cash from the bank statements to the tax return. Every add-back tested against documents, with the declined items shown. Owner compensation reset to market. The working capital peg, computed and tested. One adjusted earnings figure a lender can underwrite.
The operation
Led by Jared Luegers, CFA
Jared reviews operating and business risks apparent in the agreed records and discussions, including owner dependence, management depth and customer concentration. When the questions warrant deeper investigation, LIMESTONE can separately scope management interviews, customer calls, market research or operational fieldwork.
Independence
We sit on the diligence side of the deal.
We do not take companies to market, our diligence fee is the same whether the deal closes or not, and we sit on one side of the table. When a client is ready to sell, the sale goes to the advisor they choose and we stay on the numbers. When the right answer is a smaller scope, or none, we say so before anyone spends money. Every report carries two sets of eyes, and LIMESTONE issues it.
Meet the partners
Two partners, and the one who reached the conclusion takes your call.
Ryan leads the numbers; Jared reads the operation and performs the documented second review before LIMESTONE issues the report. Who does what, stage by stage, is on the Team page, and each partner’s record is on their profile.
Where we come from
Named for the stone the state is built from.
The firm takes its name from Indiana limestone, the stone the state is built from and used in buildings across the country, quarried about an hour north of Jasper, where the founder grew up. The name stands for work that holds up under scrutiny.
